Light Sources

Various lights and illumination are used to provide illumination for a number of imaging or optical applications including machine vision, microscopy, spectroscopy, and other applications. LED Illumination consists of a range of illumination styles such as backlights, spot lights, ring lights, or line lights that use LED arrays to produce intense, even illumination over a given object or area.

UV-Vis-NIR light sources for illumination use xenon, deuterium and tungsten halogen to cover various wavelength segments from 200-2500 nm. Use sources for absorbance, transmission, reflectance and more.

Krypton and tungsten halogen sources are available for measurements from 360-2500 nm. These white light (broad bandwidth) options are ideal for absorbance, color and reflectance.

LSM LEDs provide efficient coupling of LED light into optical fibers, ensuring high signal output. A programmable driver-controller enables monitoring of LED power output, temperature and more.

We offer two types of calibration sources: gas-discharge emission sources for spectrometer wavelength calibration; and radiometrically calibrated sources to calibrate the absolute spectral intensity of irradiance systems.

Select from an extensive range of replacement bulbs and accessories. Spare bulbs are available for deuterium, tungsten halogen and other sources.
